Samsung Galaxy A51, a mid-range 5G smartphone, is now available at Verizon. Keeping in mind the phones released in 2019, the Galaxy A51 5UW costs $550 and is one of the most affordable phones at present. It is $900 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip (discontinued). Also, the Galaxy A51 costs $250 less than OnePlus eight 5G UW and is less expensive by $100 from the Galaxy A71 5G UW.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW
The new Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW is available in one primary color, “Prism Bricks Blue.” The color is slightly like the pearlescent blue. The Galaxy A51 5G UW has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and 128GB of storage, resembling that of A71. The display is slightly smaller than the Galaxy A71.
It has a 6.5 inch OLED display screen, whereas the A71 5G UW comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display screen. A51 comes with wide-angle camera 12-megapixel, a 5-megapixel depth camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera, resembling the A71’s camera. The primary camera of the Galaxy A51 is 48 megapixels. A 64-megapixel primary camera makes A71 5G UW a better camera phone.
What’s inside the most affordable smartphone?
In April, it was advertised that the Galaxy A51 5G UW would have an ultra-wideband 5G network. The low-band network will be added when the smartphone will arrive this year. Chris Welch has mentioned in the 5G explainer video that Verizon’s high-band is ‘blazing fast’; there are coverage areas with spotty outdoors and no coverage indoors. Hence, Verizon is expecting to launch its low-band 5G network.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW is now available on Verizon’s website, priced at $550. Presently, the company is offering a temporary promotion to buy the smartphone just at $360 while signing up for a new unlimited plan.
