Rumors of a Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition have been heard for quite a long time. It is said that the fan edition will serve as a low-cost alternative than the original one. Now, it appears that the fan edition exists too and is more than a bunch of gossips. OnLeaks and Princebaba, the well-known tipster, has posted leaked information of what the Galaxy S20 5G Fan edit is supposed to look like.

The fan edition’s device is supposed to have a 6.d inch display with a similar design of cameras, and a familiar design touch like the S20. The only difference is a frosted or matte plastic back will be used in place of glass. A lot like the base Galaxy Note 20, you will then sacrifice a number of a premium feel for a more affordable smartphone.

Features of the Fan Edition – Samsung Galaxy S20

The cost-cutting will be done through memory and camera as well. You may not have to settle for a low-end processor, just like the Galaxy S10 Lite. The 120 Hz visual display will also be present. You might have to settle with a 6 GB RAM in place of an 8 GB one. The rear camera array will also be a lot simple with a 12MO primary camera (as per Ice Universe). A 12MP ultra-wide and an 8MP telephoto with 3X optical zoom will also be there. The battery life will be healthy with a 4,500 mAh battery as per GalaxyClub.

Pricing and release

The Elec sources have said there is a high possibility of the Fan Edition release by Samsung in South Korea in October. The price will be near about $750. It has not been confirmed yet if the phone will come to the USA.  The phone might fill a huge gap between the flagship phone S20 series priced at $999 and the mid-tier phone like the Galaxy 71 priced at $600. An affordable version of the S20 will be an easy option for those who want a flagship-level speed and display without spending much on the feature.
